Abdul Zabbar Shihab is a research associate at the Feed the Future Insect-Resistant Eggplant Partnership. He has contributed numerous activities in the promotion of Bt eggplant in Bangladesh during the 2023-24 session. Abdul Zabbar Shihab completed his graduation from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka under faculty of Agriculture in 2019 and Master of Science in Genetics & Plant Breeding degree from the same University in 2023. He earned the Dean’s Award in recognition of academic achievement at the undergraduate level and received National Science and Technology Fellowship from Hon’ble Prime Minister for post graduate research work. He is keen on research activities regarding improvement of crop plants for the betterment of Bangladesh agricultural sector.
